Engagement Shoot Experience

Service Description

As an alternative method to traditional engagement sessions, this 2.5 hour photoshoot will feel more like a romantic evening with your partner - one that you can reflect on for years to come. Prior to the shoot, you'll have an initial meeting with Isabelle to ask questions and share your specific needs. I also use this info to tailor the experience authentically to you. After this meeting, you can correspond with me as needed for any lingering concerns/ideas. The shoot itself is divided into three chapters: 1. Getting comfortable: The first 45 minutes are devoted to securing more traditionally posed and framed photos. Super helpful to break the ice and feel comfortable in front of the camera. 2. Date experience: Over the next 45 minutes, the couple is given personalized prompts to share with each other while a customized date is arranged around them (think: sunset picnic, walk through a garden, etc.). Prompts range anywhere from sharing silly stories, to impromptu dance challenges, to asking more emotional & romantic questions. During this section, I'll be a "fly on the wall" photographing at a distance and allowing you both to connect on a deeper level. (Option: Couple can ask me to wear noise cancelling headphones as well if they want a more private conversation) 3. Reflection: In the final 30 minutes, I give the couple an opportunity to reflect with each other on the experience while I capture their feelings close-up. Consider this an extension of the last section, but where I am just a bit closer and am able to frame the couple more intimately. (30 mins are allotted for arrival/departure, location changes, and general flexibility with timing to keep the experience stress-free, immersive, and in-flow) 30 edited images are delivered from the shoot no later than 3 weeks after the shoot date. Images are delivered through a digital link; I also have additional options for photo prints and custom photo albums (contact me directly if interested). *BONUS PACKAGE: FILM PHOTOGRAPHY* For an even more authentic index of your experience, consider adding a roll of film to the package! With this feature, you'll still receive 30 digital edits - but I'll also be taking photos with my film camera during your date. You would receive these images - roughly 33 unedited candid photos - in addition to the standard package.
